In their final analysis of the comparison, the BMW 7 came in last place, not because of the way it drove but because of their dislike for idrive.
Auto Spies perspective: We just can't sit back and not respond to this disaster of a review of ALL of these cars. They really missed the mark on this one. Could it be that BMW (mini excluded) didn't buy any ads in this month's issue?
As much as we don't like the exterior design of the 7-series, we HAVE to come to its defense. It's simply the best driving luxury car on earth and the new A8 and S-class are at least three to four steps behind this superb diving machine. Regarding idrive...the concept is brilliant but the software interface is idiotic. Fix that and NO ONE will complain about it anymore.
