As noted in previous threads, last weekend marked the Goodwood Festival of Speed. A significant part of the event is the traditional hillclimb up the mansion's winding driveway.
Driveway kind of undersells it because it's, more or less, similar to the road that leads up to Wayne Manor. It's HUGE!
Some creative soul decided at some point that it could double as a hill climb route. So, they started running the cars up it. Here's the thing though: The organizers didn't start clocking cars until 2014.
And until this year, the fastest road legal vehicle was a BAC Mono that ran in 2015. The BAC nailed a time of 47.9 in an unofficial run. The McLaren P1 LM though smashes that.
