All-new for the 2017 model year is the Aston Martin DB11. As a fan of Aston, it’s been very interesting to see how the British company has come together with Germany’s Mercedes-Benz. After ditching the naturally aspirated, 6.0-liter V12 motor for an AMG-sourced mill, we’ve been eager to better understand if this all-new era for Aston is for better or worse.

One way to get some visibility is by hearing what Jay Leno has to say on the matter. While I am the first to admit I am not his biggest fan, there’s one thing you cannot argue: He has plenty of driving experience in a slew of automobiles.

That said, he recently took the the road in the DB11 with ex-Stig, Ben Collins, to give us a taste of what’s to come.

Leno doesn’t push it too too hard — he is wheelin’ a prototype, after all — but it’s still a great look at the new era of Aston Martin.
