What started off as a 1965 Ford Mustang was transformed by Ken Block and his skilled team at Hoonigan into an ultimate drift machine for Gymkhana 7. The original version of the heavily modified pony car was fitted with a meaty 6.7-liter V8 Roush Yates engine with a massive 845 horsepower (630 kilowatts) and 720 pound-feet (975 Newton-meters) of torque sent to a custom all-wheel drive system.
Fast forward to present day, the drift machine is back with substantially more power. It retains the same engine, but the engineers have slapped on a couple of custom turbochargers and modified some of the hardware to allow the V8 run on methanol.
