Well, it seems that some gifted tuners had a vision for the Volkswagen Golf R. The folks at HGP came up with a package that slotted in a VR6, six-cylinder engine and boosted it to over 700 ponies via a bi-turbo setup. According to what we also heard, there was a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox sourced from the Audi RS3.
So, what does this look like against a supercar? The folks at GTBoard put it up against a Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 — that's the rear-wheel drive variant of the Gallardo — and the following is what happened.
