VW Touareg- Is it better than the ML and X5?

I currently drive a 2002 X5 3.0i, my wife drives a 2002 ML320. Got the opportunity to drive the V8 Tourareg last night. Fit & finish blow BMW & MB away. Talk about bang for the buck! EVERYTHING about the T-Reg is superior to the BMW & MB. I've never driven a vehicle quite like it. In November, 2 T-Regs will be in our garage, replacing the X5 & ML. I never thought I'd own a VW, much less 2 of them, but the T-Reg is simply too good to pass up. When BMW talks about "The Ultimate Driving Machine", and MB touts "Like No Other", they are describing the T-Reg. If BMW & MB aren't worried, they should be!

Auto Spies perspective- Trust us, they won't be resting on their laurels. After the Touareg and the Nissan/Infiniti products, they got a HUGE wakeup call. You'll have to wait a year or two, but look for some awesome products from MB and BMW that will all but cancel the advantages. We hear rumors the next MB ML will beat the Cayenne Turbo from zero to sixty!
