Q: Will Mercedes-Benz do a convertible version of the 2005 CLS?
A: I wouldn't bank on a convertible although sources say MB played with the idea in early stages of development. The big obstacle is that the chassis is too long and to strengthen it would add too much unnecessary weight.
An AMG Version is a given.
