One of the most eagerly anticipated vehicles of recent memory is the all-new Ford Bronco. Set to make an appearance as a 2020 model year product, everyone is getting amped up about it.
This is happening with good reason. Buyers are dying to have sport-utility vehicles and trucks.
And if Ford is content with wiping away its car portfolio, you know something BIG is happening.
While we think the upcoming Bronco should give the Jeep Wrangler a run for its money, we've been hearing whispers about something that's much, much more frightening to the Jeep brand. Something that could take down the almighty Wrangler Rubicon.
That would be a Ford Bronco Raptor.
According to what we're hearing, the trim levels will go along the lines of: Base, mid, Titanium, Power Stroke Diesel and then the badass Raptor, which will sit atop. For the skeptics out there, this is a perfect plan for the Bronco to leverage the F-150's brand equity built up in the much-loved Raptor.
Now if Ford executes this right, you can say "Bye bye" to the Wrangler Rubicon.
