Lexus RC F Track Edition Will Be The First Of Many Performance Models

Earlier this month at the Detroit Auto Show, Lexus revealed its wonderfully awesome 2020 RC F Track Edition. Although this particular model will be limited production, the Track Edition moniker isn’t going anywhere. In fact, it’s just getting started. Lexus confirmed this to Motor 1 last weekend at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, stating that "the plan right now is to build 60 (RC F) Track Editions… and it’s going to be 40 of the white and 20 of the matte gray (for 2020). It’s (our) intention to have a version of the Track Edition in subsequent (model) years.” Those words come directly from Cooper Ericksen, Lexus vice president for product planning at strategy, so we can say for certain the luxury brand is aiming high for both performance and emotion.
