Previously rumored to be discontinued after the 2025 model year, the Altima has just entered 2026 with a slightly higher starting price. Instead of the previous $27,000 before destination charge, now it's $27,580 from the outset for the generously equipped SV trim.
What else changed from the 2025 model? As it happens, the previously base S trim has been canned as well. The SV FWD is joined by the SV AWD, with the SR grade also coming with either front- or all-wheel-drive. SR customers have to spend $29,080 or $30,480, along with $1,245 for the destination fee.
