BMW won’t rely on vehicle OEM Magna Steyr for production of its next-generation X3 and will instead build the SUVs at its Spartanburg plant in the US. Production of the X3 will run alongside the new X6 coupe-crossover, as well as the current Z4 and X5 models that are already assembled at the South Carolina site.
