Alright, guys and girls, it's time to fess up.
Although the US still has one of the most robust markets for high demographic motor sales, always a good thing, it seems that the North American market just doesn't seem to have enough "juice." Essentially, what I am trying to say is that we don't get enough of the European market products.
Some manufacturers have adapted to this and have started importing more vehicles, while others have just caught on and starting implementing a global car creating machine. Take, for example, Ford which now has its global philosophy.
One exception to this rule is Volkswagen. Having fully experienced Volkswagen of America myself, I too know that it specifically avoids selling certain products here for its own reasons. They're not entirely revealed ever either and that's the frustrating part. I can understand if there's a legitimate business case but for some reason I don't think that's always the case. Call me a conspiracy theorist.
With that said, one product I would LOVE to see in the US market is the Scirocco. Why not just kill the GTI and Golf R and bring this puppy to the States? It is relatively comparable and it a bit better looking.
Taking my words into consideration, we're a little curious: after looking through the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show Gallery, which car is the one you wish we had in the States but don't get?
