Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone has banned television crews from standing in the pit-lane after a cameraman was stuck by a loose wheel during Sunday’s German Grand Prix.

Allen has remained in a Koblenz hospital for further treatment. In an effort to ensure there is no repeat, Ecclestone has ordered that all camera crews must now operate from the relative safety of the pit wall.
