The Audi A3 has been long overdue for a refresh to bring it inline with the rest of the Audi lineup, and finally, its time has come.
Though the A3 isn't the largest volume-selling product, the A3 TDI has found a cult following. Last time I checked, the TDI version accounted for approximately 50 percent of the A3's sales -- **note** This past Feb. it was over 53 percent.
Now Agent 001 was happily at the event doing what he does best -- shooting the best auto show photos, period. But after inspecting these images, it's pretty clear Audi isn't telling us the whole banana. If you compare the shots against the leaked images, it's blatantly obvious that this A3 is an S-line; however, it appears to have an S vehicle's front seats, which up until now only were featured in S cars. Weird.
I've included the earlier leaked shots of the standard vehicle below.
Like standard S-line trimmed vehicles, it's clear that it receives a differentiated front valence, side skirts and rear valence. In addition, it also is sporting large diameter wheels and for the FIRST time, it has those nifty-looking sport seats from cars like the S4 and S5.
I am sure 001 will FULLY detail this vehicle's interior tomorrow. Make sure to check back!
