According to the latest reports from Kicking Tires, it appears that Chrysler will introduce on the 2012 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited its brand new 3.6-liter V6 powertrain.
Dubbed Pentastar V6, the new engine made its debut on the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, but now is also featured on almost all the models from Chrysler’s lineup, such as the 2011 Dodge Charger, 2011 Journey, 2011 Grand Caravan but also on the 2011 Dodge Durango. Still, the bad news is that the 2011 Jeep Wrangler will get the old 3.8-liter V6 delivering just 202 hp.
