NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Porsche's first four-door sedan will go on sale some time in 2009 with a sticker price between $125,000 and $175,000, according to a report published on Inside Line, an auto enthusiast Website produced by Edmunds.com.

A Porsche spokesman contacted by CNN/Money called the report "speculation." There have been previous media reports that Porsche was working on such a car and Porsche has denied those reports as well.

A spokeswoman for Edmunds.com told CNN/Money the information came from "a reliable source at Porsche."

According to Inside Line, the sedan, known as the Panamera, will have a taller roof than Porsche's sports cars. The back end will be higher to hold a family's luggage for a long trip, the report said.

Buyers will get a choice of rear- or all-wheel-drive, according to the report. The car will incorporate styling elements of Porsche Cayenne SUV and the Carrera GT sports car, Inside Line said. The car will have a more tapered shape than the Cayenne, according to the report.
