Now here's something that I think it's safe to say has been bothering the Agents for quite some time.
You know when you see an automotive advertisement and the brand usually has some hip music on the commercial, the car's doing some neat tricks or simply looks great, then there is a voiceover or writing that says something like "The FIRST ever 31 mpg + 305 hp V6 2011 Mustang."
Uh, what?!
31 mpg is a great figure, particularly when you consider it a muscle car with over 300 horsepower; however, the problem is that figure is hardly achievable unless you know EXACTLY how to drive it and manipulate the most of the vehicle.
Oh yeah, it is also a highway mpg figure. They don't mention that though.
With that said, we want to know:
Why do they insult people's intelligence? And should they be sued for not disclaiming clearly that 99 percent of planet Earth won't get even close ?
By the way, Ford isn't the ONLY manufacturer guilty of using ad tactics like these.
