Now it's one thing to wreck out a car. It's bad enough for that unfortunate fate. Although we wager it is MUCH worse to do it in an exotic.
Even more so. To do it in front of rolling cameras outside of a local car meeting.
According to reports, a twin-turbo Lamborghini Gallardo that was worked on by the infamous Underground Racing team suffered some pretty bad damage -- as you'll see below -- when the driver's heel of his shoe broke.
As much as I want to cut the guy some slack my cynical side would expect, if the shoe really broke, that the throttle would have stayed pinned for a while. I am not an expert but it looks like the car had cold tires, was given too much throttle while turning and the driver panicked.
Honestly though, it can happen to anyone when you've got 1,000 hp on tap and you're not careful on cold tires.
Thankfully, there were no reported injuries. Be careful out there, Spies!
