It's official, Spies! Production of regular C8, 2020 Chevrolet Corvette has begun at General Motors' Bowling Green facility.
While there's been hold ups due to strikes and some supplier issues — if you spec'd carbon fiber on your car, you may have to get those parts down the road — the cars have officially started rolling off the production line. For GM this is a tremendous occasion. That's because the all-new Corvette is a revolution.
It really took the Chevrolet team a lot of brass to make this decision. We're excited for our turn behind the wheel.
According to the guidance we've been provided, the first C8s should arrive in dealer showrooms by the end of February or the beginning of March. We've got our eyes peeled, Spies!
We're looking forward to seeing customers take delivery and watch to see if any early cars get flipped for big dollars.
