Ford Motor Co. is reportedly preparing to move production of some Lincoln models from China to the U.S. beginning in 2030, as high Trump tariffs and tighter restrictions on Chinese vehicle technology reshape the automaker’s production strategy.
According to a report by Reuters on Wednesday, CEO Jim Farley confirmed in an interview with the news agency that the Lincoln Nautilus SUV imported from China attracted a 52.5% tariff and that Ford will begin shifting production of some Lincoln vehicles into the U.S. starting in 2030, the report said.
