Toyota and Honda just posted numbers that do not fit the narrative anyone had written about sedans. The Toyota Camry moved 260,684 units through the first nine months of 2026, up 11.2 percent, while the Honda Accord jumped 32.7 percent to 145,520 sales over the same stretch.
 
SUVs and trucks still move the most metal in America. American Honda as a whole just logged its best third quarter since 2019, and the strength is not buried in one segment.
