Alfa Romeo is hoping its new 159 will apeal to the head as much as the heart as the Italian maker looks to boost its appeal in Australia.
The all-new Alfa 159 - the long-awaited replacement for the 156 - brings with it generous equipment levels that includes leather seats, alloy wheels, an electronic stability system, curtain airbags and a knee airbag for the driver.
Plus, in an era when manufactuers are inceasingly turning to cheaper, inferior space-saver spare tyres, there's a full-size spare tyre and it even comes with an alloy wheel, something Alfa says "was not very expensive".
