The 2011 BMW 1M is really a magical car, there's no other way to put it. Though the M division has put together some jaw-droppingly good products, there hasn't been a BMW driving experience I've loved nearly as much as the 2003 330Ci I piloted.
The 1M exceeded that experience and then some.
BUT, as with any vehicle, folks think they can improve upon perfection. This is where Mfestforum user "Powerbeast" comes in. Not only did he make an awesome decision to snap up a 1M while he could, he went absolutely BANANAS with his modifications. None of which was shortchanged or ill-informed from the looks of things.

Essentially, everything he could have possibly changed to make this a better vehicle, he has.
My favorite pairing of modifications has to to be the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, the BBS FIs -- likely the most gorgeous aftermarket rim out right now aside from the HRE Vintage series --, the Brembo big brake kit AND the KW V3 coilover suspension.
