If you happened to keep an eye on my threads this weekend, you should have noted by now that I've done a couple of stories on the all-new Audi R8 appearing at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. This marks one of the first times we saw it and this week will bring its global unveil.

As I've pointed out in other stories, it is a whopper for Audi.

It didn't take too long for those Photoshop wizards out there to start doing their handiwork. One of my personal favorites I like to follow is X-Tomi Design. Not only do they happen to concoct some wacky stuff, it also does some forward thinking, realistic renders as well.

The latest is an interpretation of a second-generation Audi R8 Spyder. With absolutely nothing to go on, this render simply pulls off the top, adds a brushed aluminum windshield surround and the current-gen R8 Spyder's louvers to the rear deck.

Considering there haven't been any sightings or spy shots of a next-gen R8 Spyder, this is pure speculation and a nice way to imagine what Audi **may** think about doing. We're pretty confident given the success of the first-gen R8 Spyder there will also be a second-gen follow up. And, Audi has remarked that there is a lot of flexibility in variants and the company may explore scaling out the R8 lineup a bit.
