The BBC is definitely in a bit of a pickle. Since it decided to relieve Jeremy Clarkson of his duties on the automotive program, Top Gear, it has held back several episodes that were a part of the current season. Now that the BBC and police investigation are over, everyone's more or less standing around with their arms extended.

So, now what?

The money was already invested into production. Should the BBC just scrap the episodes? Obviously, no.

According to the BBC, the media company will show the final episodes but so far no word on how. Remember, the filmed bits are taped months in advance and then Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May tape the in-between bits the Wednesday before they air on Sunday. While the BBC has vaguely determined it will air the episodes "in the summer," there's so far no word if Clarkson's scenes will be kept or edited out.

I wouldn't be surprised if they hire a new presenter and let them do a few bits to replace Jezzas, which would make sense for the time delay here.

Regardless, we know one thing's certain. It won't be the same again.

We'll keep you abreast of the latest breaking news from across the pond related to Top Gear.
