I know it seems that this question seems to pop up a lot. I am not sorry about it, though because this is a very, very good question. Of course this is assuming that you're not a brand snob and simply want the best driving experience above all else.

Pricing for the all-new Shelby GT350 and GT350R have leaked online and it has been confirmed by Ford itself that the prices seen are accurate. This means, somehow, Ford has done the unthinkable and will deliver a 500 horsepower V8 Mustang for less than $50,000. And, the even more hardcore GT350R variant will start at under $65,000.

For those of you keeping track, the benchmark at the moment, the BMW M4 bases at around $64,000. While the standard GT350 may be the deal of the century, the R is extremely compelling.

Considering how far the Mustang has come, especially when you think about the last-gen Boss 302 model, Ford may have just one upped the Germans. Of course we'll have to wait and see once we get behind the wheel, but on paper this is sounding incredibly compelling to us.

Having said that, we want to open the discussion to the AutoSpies faithful. Do the all-new Shelby GT350 and GT350R rethinking snapping up an M4? Is the M4 too good to pass up?
