The 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Ole Yeller is one-of-a-kind model specially designed by Ford for Experimental Aircraft Association’s AirVenture event in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The car was sold at the auction for $295,000.

Design of the 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 called Ole Yeller is inspired by U.S. aviation history. It pays homage to Bob Hoover’s P-51 Mustang Ole Yeller fighter plane (photo below). It is mostly painted in yellow livery with black and green accents. It is also equipped with green neon lights. Those really make it stand out during night.

The car also received Forgiato aluminum wheels, sport-tuned suspension, and many carbon fiber elements, such as aero mods and custom rear wing. Inside, you’ll notice the Recaro sports seats. All modifications are made by MAD Industries, following the design by Ford Motor Company designers Nicole Rush and Melvin Betancourt.
