As I arrived Sunday into New Orleans, I knew I was in for a special trip. That's because I had arrived in Louisiana to drive the all-new, 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish. My last Aston experience was in the V8 Vantage S, which I adored. How much better could it be?

What made this trip particularly insightful was the variety of the specification amongst the handful or so Vanquishes on hand. Options and colors I had not previously seen were on deck and it felt like the holidays arrived a bit early.
