Chrysler Group's Dodge brand is going to get a version of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta small hatchback late next year as a replacement for the Dodge Caliber.Chrysler/Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne identified the Giulietta as the donor model in comments Thursday discussing Fiat's surprisingly robust third-quarter earnings.

The Chrysler five-year product plan unveiled Nov. 4 identifies the Caliber as dead meat after 2011, to be replaced by a Fiat-based model of similar size built by Chrysler.
