An improperly anchored seat belt is the cause of a recall issued by Porsche for more than two hundred of its 2011 and 2012 vehicles. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the issue involves the vehicles’ seat belt mechanism, specifically the seat belt anchor plate. The federal agency reports the hole in the plate may be too small, compromising the belt’s ability to protect the driver or passenger in the event of an accident. The NHTSA also reports that the seat belt anchor plate could also loosen over time.Cadillac Cien ConceptEXCLUSIVE First Real-Life Shots Of The 2013 Lexus GSFirst Real-Life Look -- Infiniti JX Concept2013 Porsche 911 REVEALED Photo Gallery2013 BMW 3-Series Spied In The Flesh For The First TimeBimmerFest East 2011 Photo GalleryBMW i3 and i8 Concept Photo GalleryAutoSpies.com Photo GalleriesIf you want to see your photos running on our homepage photo ticker, be sure to upload your photos on the go by sending them to Mobile@AutoSpies.com Share on FacebookRead Article
