You know, I think there's one thing that sort of has fallen by the way side in today's automotive purchase. Much like safety, to me it seems that paint just does not get any respect these days.
It used to be a big deal. I remember going to the dealerships, checking out the palettes in the back of the brochures, and even hearing about deals going south because of a paint scheme not being in stock or a model not coming in a specific shade. Now it seems most buyers say "oh, you don't have it in 'x,' shucks I'll just have it in 'y.'"
