 I don’t know exactly when this will happen, but humanoid robots, potentially even the kind powered by artificial intelligence, will definitely become part of our lives. Strangely enough, their rise as part of our civilization won’t begin in homes, as dreamed in science fiction literature, but in factories.

      
There are several robotics companies presently researching humanoid robots and potential applications for them, but none of them seems to be as advanced as South Korean carmaker Hyundai and its company Boston Dynamics. I mean, these guys are not only making humanoid robots, but have just announced the opening of what may be the world’s first training center for such machines.
