If you're a fan of mid-engine supercars and anything hailing from the brand with the raging bull, you're going to adore this Lamborghini. That's because the car in question is the one that has been deemed the vehicle that started the radical supercar craze.

Even better, this was the Miura shown at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show. It is 1971 Lamborghini Miura P400 SV Prototype. Given its credentials, it just sold for more than $1.7 million bucks.

To be frank, a car with this much history, which is essentially the founding father of supercars, deserves this kind of price tag.

With that said, there are two key differences between the prototype and the production versions.

1) There are no "eyelashes" on the headlights

2) Wider rear fenders
