Fourtitude got their hands on the Audi Q7 3.0 TDI in America. The V6 TDI diesel pumps out 230 horsepower and a massive 370 lb-ft of torque. Overall, performance is reported to be very comparable to the 3.6-liter V6 gasoline engine Q7. The best part, the diesel Q7 averaged 25 mpg in combined city and highway driving. That is very impressive for a full size SUV weighting in at over 5,000 pounds. One would expect such fuel economy in a mid size sedan. The diesel Q7 should arrive as a 2008 or a 2009 model year.
