Mercedes-Benz Cars sales rose 2.0 percent in 2007 for a record 1.29 million units. Sales were driven by the new 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class and SUVs. Daimler sold 261,500 units of the new 2008 Mercedes C-Class in all of 2007, up 57 percent. Sales of Mercedes-Benz SUVs rose 6 percent to 180,100 units
